 1. Head to Toe Leather

For Fall 2017, leather is not limited to statement pieces like mini skirts and moto jackets. The runways displayed wearing

leather from head to toe in maxi pieces and pants for a more dramatic, bad-girl effect.

2. Statement Fur Coats

Fur coats tend to be on-trend most cold-weather seasons, but the F/W 2017 runways showed an increase in

interest for bold, long, statment fur jackets. Whether animal print, vintage-inspired, or pastel colored, fur coats

will be all the range in the cold months this year.

3. Boxy Menswear-Inspired Blazer

Boxy menswear-inspired blazers in classic plaid and windowpane prints were prominent on the runwat for Fall 17.

Tailored fits with oversized shapes and workwear inspired styling made a big impact. This wearable trend will be everywhere

this Fall.

4. Golden Girl

While the metallic trend has been going strong for the past few seasons, silver has tended to take the reigns

in terms of its popularity over gold. For Fall 2017, gold makes a comeback in shiny lurex dresses and 1920's inspired flapper

styles.

5.  Utility-Chic

Many of the F/W 17-18 runways consistently showed pieces reflective of utlity influence in various forms, upgraded

with more feminine and sophisticated shapes and lines for a softer feel. Miliary style parkas and trenches, army green maxi dresses

and camo prints were all prominent themes on the New York runways.
